Farrier near Woolsthorpe by Belvoir?

Hello,

I have recently moved to Woolsthorpe with my two horses and I am looking for a recommendation of a good farrier. I need someone who will do my retired, barefoot appy and my currently unshod three year old. They are both very easy to do.

Stuart Spence without doubt. Really good chap as is his son Richard. They do Duchess of Rutland's arabs and the hunt horses I think, so are in the area regularly. He likes a cuppa while he's there. Totally reliable, if he says he'll be there he will be. Been my farrier for 12 years. I wouldn't change him. Google him for numbers

Stuart Spence is my farrier too. Definitely recommend him. Never lets you down, comes when he says he will. You do have to make tea for them all though (sometimes 3 or 4 come if he has apprentices with him).

Thank you both but unfortunately they are not taking anyone new on at the moment. Does anyone else know of anyone?
