Farrier needed in Bury, Lancashire area...any recommendations please?

Hi,
I am looking for a really good farrier in the Bury, Bolton or Manchester area who is good with barefoot horses, who will also be good with a nervous youngster.

I currently have a very good one but the problem is that he is so popular I can never get hold of him and my poor boy is becoming overdue for his feet being trimmed.

Can anyone recommend one please. I would be greatful if you can.

We use Marshall Proudfoot for ours, one retired with no shoes and one ridden, shoes on fronts only

Sorry to bump this up, really in need of a farrier and unable to obtain number for MARK BERNARD and tried Marshall and unable to get hold of him....must be another good popular farrier

If anyone can give me recommendations (with numbers to contact them on) that would be great.

if you go on to the farriers regestration council website they have a find a farrier section where you can put your post code in and get a list of all the regesterd farriers closest to you.

I managed to book into a Farrier last week and he has now been trimmed by Marshall.....who is very good may I add, I would definately recommend to anyone who askes.
