Farrier on "Playing it Straight"

Have to say loving the horsey undertones on "Playing it Straight" with there being both a farrier and a vet student in there.

Just wondered if Dean, the farrier, was actually anyones on heres farrier?! Looks like he could be a right laugh (much better than my old fat farrier!!), although not sure if he's doing a good job of *ahem* playing it straight or not!

If anyone on here does know him, please don't ruin it by stating his sexual orientation :D Cannot decide whether all is what it seems or not.

Was totally digging his red and white stripey vest top and shades look!

(PS vet student David's stage act - wrong wrong wrong! Not sure thats quite how to woo a lady?!)

I keep thinking the farrier acts gay... he is quite pretty thougt :rolleyes:

Quite where David (vet student) goes to school, I dont know. And quite how he has time to take weeks off to film this whilst we are all up to our necks in EMS placements, I don't know either, but good on him!!
 
I reckon both farrier and vet student are gay. Farrier because he acts it (he made shoeing that horse look camp!), vet student because straight male vet students don't need a tv programme to get a girlfriend!!

zxp I wondered where he went to vet school too, I don't think he's Liverpool, although he must be a few years below me I'm sure that sort of gossip would have made its way to the recent grads. I'm guessing he's either 2nd or 3rd year, they're the only years you get anything resembling a summer holiday!

I go to school with pleanty of male vet students who have no game and struggle to get a woman! :p

It is not the hot bed of hunks I imagined in 6th form :rolleyes:

He isn't from Notts either. The rumour mill would be in overdrive if he was!! And I certainly didn't have time in lower years....

Cannot believe people replied to this!! Tonights finale - eeeekkkk!! Jels of who had him as their farrier!!

ps I was wondering that about vet student holidays too. Maybe at Cambridge? Do they get hols in intercalation year? If not maybe its filmed intensively over a couple of weeks and he's somehow squished it in?!
 
I totally missed the programme but he was in my local paper as he lives around here and is a old friends farrier... :p
 
I watched that and was convinced he was gay!! I thought that short dark haired guy was straight..... gah! Sucked. In.

My "gaydar" clearly needs a retune!!!!!!!!

What a throughly entertaining show... Alan Carr was priceless :D
 
I don't know what I'm going to do without 'Play It Strait' on a Monday! I was convinced he was gay after watching him shoe that horse are the beginning, I also thought Danny was strait, deary me I don't stand a chance!
 
Apparently my gaydar is beautifully tuned ... I guessed every single one of them correctly :D My housemates didn't believe me when I insisted that Dean was the only straight one left in the final :D

Was very happy Dean is straight :D

On another note, Danny and Ben (the gay twin who didn't make it to the final) are in a relationship. How cute!
