Farrier recommendations in Huddersfield/Wakefield area

I'm on the look out for a new farrier, current one is not great having only been using him since last September, but in every shoeing Lude's has lost a shoe (after 1 week time before last!). John Hick and Martin Hey have been highly recommended, but unfortunately neither are taking on new customers. Anybody have other recommendations?

Ive just changed my farrier as you may well have heard last weekend. Its a guy based in Harrogate who has a few apprentices. The one that came to me the other week was really nice and hot too

Lee Ellis, used to use Graham Harland but I moved from Ledston to Wakefield and he couldnt come that far

We use Harlands, they come to Wakefield for us. Might be worth giving him a ring and trying to fit you in on the same day as us. Which yard are you on?

The guy I use was trained by the Harlands.

He is totally fantastic and used to practise on my horse before he went on his own. I really recomend Harlands or anyone trained by them.
