It's interesting to see that the NFTA has closed its doors to new apprentices whilst it gets its house in order. The only thing it could reasonably do in view of Ofsted finding it inadequate. Let's hope this is an opportunity for a full review of farrier training and a realistic way forward for the future. Schools and colleges would have been put under special measures in this situation. Surprised that it hasn't been brought up here before now!
