Farrier west yorkshire- help!

Hi i am looking for a reliable trustworthy farrier who covers west yorks, We purchased our 2 ponies roughly 8 weeks ago, obviously i wanted them to settle a little before i had the farrier , but i have been looking for around 4 weeks now have obtained numbers from local feed shops etc but can not get a reply, any advice on good farriers in my area greatly appreciated getting really desperate now .

Hi. You don't say where in W Yorks you are (it's a big place!). We have used a farrier called Tim Hall for over 20 years and he has always been reliable (unliked several others in the area - I won't name names!)
He is based in Knaresborough and we are just south of Wetherby (in West Yorks) so I know he does that area/Leeds etc. If you are anywhere around Leeds then, if you want PM me and I can forward you his number.

I use Harland Farriers. There are a few of them, and I think they cover most of West Yorkshire?

OP have a look on the Farrier Register on the web. You just type in your postcode and it brings up contact details of farriers in your area.

Thanks will try those recommended, but you are right should have given better placing we are between Batley and Morley, Thanks again
