hi all

I need a farrier to come and do some remedial shoeing and wondered if anyone knows about the two names I have been given.

Ross Philip?
William Brookes?

My current farrier is retiring so I'm looking for someone else, my horse has very low heels in front (current farrier not really altered it much) and I'd like to discuss it with the next one.

Can anyone recommend or advise? happy for private PM.

Dump the shoes. Low heels with a healthy frog is good ;-)

Have to agree :) shoeing is fine but much remedial shoeing covers up underlying problems addressing symptoms not the root cause.

I would boot up and let the horse grow a supportive hoof and frog and then if desired return to shoes,.

Feel free to ignore :)
