As title really, does anyone have any recommendations?

Our current farrier does a cracking job at shoeing our TBs but is always late (up to 2 hours), never answers his phone, he doesn't always respond if I have a problem (eg horse loses a shoe - leaving daughter without anything to ride over half term) and I am struggling to be honest. There's always a very good reason - problems with his horses/problems with his wife/problems with clients' horses/traffic/illness etc etc I don't run my business like this - I'd be out of work if I did - and yet ... and yet .... he is technically very good.

Husband says to get rid, but I'm aware that the good ones don't advertise and I suspect that they won't have room to take on more clients anyway.

Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

I use Peter Gledhill, absolutely fantastic! Will come out almost any time and also does remedial shoeing 07876214496

I use Paul Hurst. Always patient and always on time (and if not, he will text and say how long he will be!) and very reasonable too. Not sure if he is taking on new clients as he is always very busy but worth a try :)

Many thanks
