I always used the Lawrence brothers - Martin and David. Depends on where you are as to which one you get. I have had both and swear by them. The riding stables I used to work at use them too, as do many of my horsey friends.
Clive Ley is also good.
Not sure I'd recommend Keith Parkin, but that is a personal opinion... the 3 times I used him, a shoe fell off within a week of him coming, then I'd have to wait ages to get him to come and put it back on, and he'd charge. My horse did have rubbish feet, but I never had the issue with any other farrier. The one time he lost a shoe after David Lawrence shod him, he came out the next day, replaced it and didn't charge me. However, I do know people who swear by Keith, so as I said, just a personal opinion.
Just noticed you are looking for a TB with foot issues. My TBs feet improved no end with David Lawrence. He will b**ch and moan about them, but he does a great job, and all his complaining is in just in good fun!
Paul Dean - absolutely fantastic. Ex Kings troop, great farrier and does fantastic remedial work. A genius with bad TB feet, totally reliable, absolutely trustworthy. Answers his phone, responds to text. brilliant. I will PM you re some of the others
