Should all farriers be on the farriers registration council list?

I’ve been recommended a farrier.. but his name isn’t anywhere on the list. Would you try and find someone who is?

Could he have variations of his name. I know some farriers with variance on their name on the register.

Did think that, but his website has his full name on. Not sure it can be shortened. Definitely not on there.

The search seems to be a bit dodgy it came up with different names each time. There are a number of farriers I know that are definitely qualified including my own I’ve used for 17yrs and was approved to train apprentices and he’s not on there.

Just had another go and looked at the list view instead of map view and that has a lot more names and my farrier is there. He didn’t come up on the map view.
