I wondered what it means when a horse farts a lot when you are riding them?
I have been told its a good sign of good digestion and health, but would like some opinions, as I do not trust google :)

Try slimming world roast cabbage wedges, trickle of olive oil and sprinkle of chilli salt. Tasty but oh my word the side effects are impressive !!

One time, I ate so many beans that my horse farted so loudly, my colleague's horse ran off, up the road

I am so glad there wasn't an accident, imagine having to out THAT report in for an RTC :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

I had a companion pony that had rather a wide repertoire. I bought some mint to disguise the taste and smell of some medication he was on. After a few weeks I realised that his windy problem had disappeared.
Honestly, I wouldn't worry too much.

MrT has a few good long farts on the way out on a hack (uphill, so jet propulsion required). Once we turn for home he starts to go a bit slower, has a good long think for a while and finally does a ? ? ? in almost exactly the same place as yesterday. Better than before the winter break where he did his poo at the beginning of the hack right outside one of the neighbours every time. And sometimes even managed to squeeze a second one out in the same place on the way back..
