Fashion advise please

Not strictly comp riders but it will be worn when competing.

I want to get my boy a new bridle, he is currently in my old horse's hand me downs and it is not the best quality. I want to get him a black grackle as i have a black saddle and suffer from a slight twitch from unmatching tack but im unsure on what one to get. I love Sabre leather, had one for my old mare but its too small and brown, like the look of Amerigo but not sure about the buckles on the cheek pieces, same with the Albion. So what do you peeps think will look best on him or any other sugestions. Im not keen on bling or fancy stitching (poor excuse for a sjer i know ). Want good quality and have a budget of no more than £200 inc reins but i need to get a brestplate as well so some change would be nice

equiport have some nice grackle bridles, under £200 but not sure if reins incl, but the leather quality is very nice.

if your links i like the Amerigo best.

I have a Frank Baines one which is lovely. Comfort head piece and lovely big bit of fluff on noseband and i'm sure i paid less than £100 without reins.

I've got the Amerigo one, I love it! I bought it because I liked the pads under the 'ring' bit on the noseband so it doesn't rub, I didn't want 'fluff' on the noseband and I loved the all in one headpiece. Had it for nearly 5 years now and it's my favourite bit of tack.

Unfortunately my ungrateful sod of a 5yo decided to scratch his head on the edge of his top door on Saturday whilst wearing said treasured piece of kit and broke one of the buckle pins on the cheekpiece - he's a thug!

I don't do buckles on cheekpieces at all but love Sabre stuff generally. I also have a lovely Jaguar grackle bridle just to add to the mix and Kate Negus stuff is fab and you can mix and match all the bits to get the bridle you want.

Thanks guys. The prob i have is i havnt found any that i can see in the flesh if you know what i mean, they all look lovely in the pics but i like to see them first if poss.
The Amerigo seems to be winning at the moment as it seems to tick all the boxes, like the pads under the rings and its simple but i really like Sabre leather, no buckles and i quite like the browband Just think the noseband looks chunky.

Didnt think it would be this hard to get a bridle, havent even started on a elasticated breastplate yet

I really like that, i saw it at Hickstead but wasnt sure about the leather noseband 'rings'.
Forgot about MT bridles, like them aswell, aggghhh!!!
Id like to take bits from all of them, Sabre head piece and cheeks, Amerigo noseband, MT price
