After reading the thread about ff,i wondered what is best for my good doer 22 mth idx?

Atm she is on hifi good doer(1 scoop) and a few hi fibre cubes.fed once a day.

I was going to get speedy beet when it gets much coldet if needed, but wondered if ff would be better.

TBH they are both pretty fast. I think jeremy clarkson clocked the fast fibre doing 0-60 in 5.6 seconds... you might need a bigger engine if you want to make your cob faster...or by him a masseratti

Just a warning - my horse will eat FF fine on its own or mixed with other soaked feeds, but has choked 3 times in 10days when I put it in with his 'normal' feed of chaff, conditioning cubes and Omega Rice as an alternative to sugar beet.

I now just feed it on its own when he's stabled in addition to his feed and hay.

Apparently A&P have had quite a few complaints along these lines (my vet spoke to one of the reps). They said it still contains sugar beet and should be soaked for longer than the advertised 60 seconds.
