Fastening for crupper

I use a crupper on my pony when we ride on steep hillsides. One of my saddles has a brass loop on the back to attach the crupper to but my other doesn't. I want to buy a brass footman's loop to put on the saddle but I can't find a UK supplier to buy from. This is roughly what I want

It looks like small cupboard handle... So any hardware store.

You can get a "T" bar that slips under the back of the panels under the cantle; that's what I use for any of the saddles that don't have a crupper loop. Possibly get a saddler to make them, although they are also commercially available.

Depending on the material that your tree is made from, it may not be possible to securely screw a handle type thingy on to the cantle.
