So guys here are pictures of my newest project, and this what I'm up against....

Somehow these pictures actually make her look slimmer!

Look at the crest on her neck!

Ok so there is a long road to having her fit rather than fat, but other than her being obese, what do you reckon to her?

Good luck

I bet however fit she is she will still have a large crest, if she isn anything like fat Ginga.

All Haffies are gorgeous and she's no exception but blimey what a backside! A family of six could have a picnic off it lol! She needs lipo suction urgently - good luck with it x

she's gorgeous but that is going to take a long time to get rid of lol

bless her, call me cruel but i think obeseity is just as cruel as emaciation after having had a lecture from WHW on conditioning. it is infact almost worse poor pone

good luck with her, ever such a coot face

I agree that being obese is worse that being underweight. Her poor little legs carrying that around. Me and her owners were horrified when the loaners brought her back looking like that. And she is so damn wide!! I'm not convinced they did anything with her the whole time she was away. The saddle that went with her 18 months ago has been returned untouched and obviously doesn't fit her anymore. I leaned over her and then sat on her bare back today and nearly did the splits!

Good luck with getting her fit

It has taken about 10 months to get my boy from being seriously over weight to nice and muscular

He still has a very big crest though and I doubt that will ever go.

after getting my cob back of loan, the girl got pregant but knew i was doing my finals as it was her land pony stayed with her which was nice of her but he should have had his weight monitored!

on picking up the pony, spin was about an 1in bellow the height of the back and i ended up borrowing a racing saddle as no treed saddle would fit we eventually got it of

I've heard that NAF Slimline is supposed to help with cresty necks - can't vouch for that as my ponies necks weren't too bad. However, it's quite strong smelling and one of my ponies flatly refuses to touch it and he normally eats anything..

Reminds me of a Thelwell cartoon where the 'rider' is sat sideways playing cards on a Shire

.

She is very pretty - it will be great to see her fit (I wonder if she'll stop squeeking then lol).

Trying to get weight on Dizzy and get her fit, and you're trying the opposite with Haffie. Can't wait for the photos! You'll have to post weekly update pictures

She is gorgeous. It will take about 18 months to get that lot of - at least it did for my horse.

She is gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous.

It will be worth it.

Is she a Oxned haffy?

She's lovely, regardless of her size. She will be a real beauty when she has slimmed down. Good luck.
