Well, challenging summer with the new boy after a challenging winter with little Saxon. Get the thin horse in winter and the fat horse in summer!

And boy was he fat!

We've opted for work as the answer!

This is a month later, well on the way down I think?

What do you think of him? :)

In love :o

And much trimmer. But seriously, just my kinda horse! :p

In fact your a terrible owner who is starving that obv very thin horse and I shall come rescue him

He's lovely! And what a difference. He's looking soooo much better already :D

Depressingly many people would have been happy with his previous weight as 'show condition' and 'what a nice show cob type'.... :(

Easier to keep weight off if they are being worked too. But your horse looks so much better its amazing how different they look once slimmed down. They definitely move easier as well.

Nic pics and agree looks very neglected and underfed so I can pick him up later. OK!!

Thanks all. :D

My sister and I are rather pleased to have found him! He's only 5 and good as gold and has just started popping little fences. Only problem is my hairy boy really hates him, but he's kept running in the field quite a lot which is helping the weight shift faster than the starvation paddock he was in when he very first turned up did!!!

Proper leg at each corner solid chap and so comfortable.

He looks familiar, did you get him of an older lady I forget her name & where she is based , she had he rown bit of land & kept him with one other?

Guess there can't be that many sexy spotty cobs about! :D

So what do you know about him then!? We just saw him in an advert and liked him and the rest as they say is history!

Don't know him personally if it was the same advert I saw :) One he reminds me of was on preloved advertised locally to me.

I loved him, thought he had a lovely shape to him! But I have enough cobbies lol :p

The lady you bought him of had my NF on loan for the winter to keep Bruce company while the other horse went on livery, she also let our NF get very fat & overweight :(. All I no about Bruce is that he isn't good in traffic.

That's a shame. :(

We were told he wasn't great in traffic, but we've been taking it slowly and he's coming on leaps and bounds. Just takes a bit of work and patience I think and the right place! Just has to get on with it at our place since it's a working farm and it's been hay making time!

My sister and I think he's great!

If you're out and about at any shows or rides around the area, let me know :D I'm desperate to get the pony out doing some stuff :)
