For goodness sake if you are going to post a name get it right.
They are carrying on although that fence is dolled off, although there is nothing wrong with fence I dont think.
Mum is there to watch our horse who was in a good position in the CIC*** after dressage but Piggy has packed up & gone home after her friend was killed.
Terrible, your heart just sinks when you read something like this. I was near the fence where Emma J died at Hartpury last year.........still havent gotten over it.
RIP to all concerned xxx

So right. He was one of the very nicest people we have ever had at Malpas. I'm so sorry for his family and friends, a smashing bloke.
How very sad for his family.
I didn't know of him so looked at his BE record, and he won last time out and was vastly experienced riding lots of horses, so I'm assuming it was just one of those unfortunate accidents.
I think anyone involved with eventing tries not to think about the worst that can happen until you see a report like this one.
My thoughts are with his family and friends and also those involved at the event, they must feel dreadful tonight.
How awful, and a well known and loved, local as well, had a great sense of humour and was certainly a very experianced acomplished rider. What horrible news!
