Fautras dealers in/near Kent?

Think I am finally decided on a fautras provan trailer, but can I find a local dealer? Since fautras uk are out of business there seems no place to look for nearest dealer. Anyone know of dealers in south east? Or second hand trailers for sale. And anyone knw where horsetrailersales.co.uk is based as they seem to be somewhere in south? Anyone had a trailer from them and can advise what they are like?
 
How exciting! I got my Fautras from Greenslade trailers although I think they are now horse trailers.co.uk and they are in Robertsbridge, East Sussex.

We love our trailer they are a bit more expensive but sooo worth the money mine travel beautifully.
 
There used to be a Fautras dealer near Biddenden (I think, have to look on road map!) as I remember looking round them several years ago. I think they sold other trailers as well but he had quite a few new and second hand ones too.
 
Well that is super - less than an hour away. What were they like as a company to deal with? Was going t get an equitrek, but the local dealer is an arrogant **** and I gave up trying to speak to him! I'd like someone with some customer service skills!
 
I bought our trailer from Frank Smith of Greenslade trailers (horsetrailers.co.uk) in Sandhurst, pleased with the deal we got for a new Wessex trailer, looked at Cheval Liberte, rubbish! Beware of foreign trailers, parts and repairs may be hard to locate.
 
I think my geography was a bit out and the one I looked at was Greenslade, not at Biddenden as that is the IW place.

If its still the same guy he was very helpful and seemed to know his stuff about the trailers but wasn't particularly pushy. Not sure where the trailers are now as the address on his website seems to be just an office.
 
He has a big barn in Sandhurst and his 'office' is his house a couple of miles away, also has other premises which he said were about 50miles from Sandhurst. Very helpful chap and his wife, been selling trailers for donkey's years. We drove down from Norfolk to see a secondhand Titan trailer and went home with a new 3 horse Wessex! If you push hard he will do a deal with you. He can also sort out Datatag for you, it's easy to do yourself and gives added security to your trailer
