Hi guys,

I picked up my new (second hand but new to me) Fautras Oblic 3 trailer yesterday and spent 3 hours cleaning it up - am doing all the getting to know it stuff before I load up. I find the leather belt fastenings on the partitions really fiddly and am wondering if anyone has changed them to something else more practical? Also it seems short of those tie up ring brackets that go on the slide rails at the sides - is there somewhere you know of where I could pick up some more? And lastly, has anyone taken up the rubber floor matting to clean underneath - was it easy to do?

I have to say I find it quite ugly (mine's cream with a pink and black go faster stripe) and am anxious to see how they load up the back step minus a ramp, but am very excited about getting out and about altogether this summer.

Any views / advice gratefully received, thanks xxx

I have serviced a few for customers , and found them to be one of the best made trailers on the market. It has made me realise how basic our horse transport is in this country!

I have an oblic 2 and love it. Can't say
I find the leather straps fiddly at all and my horse loads and unloads very easily and have never bothered with either the front or back ramps. I get spare parts from tally
ho trailers they are really good and will source and post for
you. I hope you learn to love your trailer even with it's pink stripes!!
