I don't live in a manor house but if there is a single man who lives in one and requires a chatelaine, I'd consider leaving my husband. In fact, no consideration needed, I'm packing right now .
I live in a house that is on a country estate, its 400 years old. So this must be classed as my favorite. Other than this the Lowther estate would come a close second.
