These are my youngsters.. The first has just turned 4 and the second is 3.

Both purebred CBs and my preferred breed for intelligence, trainability, personality and aptitude..

Thank you! They are pretty long... He's quite fine for a purebred - We got mistaken for a partbred at Thame ;) He's currently standing at 17.2hh and is not quite 6.... ;)

Yours have beautiful shines to their coats :)

Wow CBFan, your horse is absolutely stunning! What a handsome boy!

I think I have a favourite according to category. To work with, a Thoroughbred. To bond with, an Arab. To look at, an Akhal Teke. I've managed to acquire the Thoroughbred and Arab. Unfortunately, all I've got in place of the Akhal Teke is a Saddler with strange conformation.

Welsh D x Hackney - intelligent, friendly, handsome and just a bit silly!

Oh, and did I mention almost indistructable. 3 years ago mine was hit by a car doing 60mph. Car was a wreck, but he refused to give up, and is now back in full work.

Safe as houses, but rides as though everything is a surprise. Has been known to jump 3 feet in the air scooby-doo style at the sight of his own reflection in a puddle. Yykkkes!!! Sometimes leaves the rider laughing so much it HURTS.

I will always have a soft spot for Arabs. But the ones I enjoyed working with the most were Icelandics and Haflingers. Although recently, I have met some very nice Natives....

Lovely to see some CB pics. I had a TBxCB years ago who was fantastic. There should be more around. Can't understand why they went out of fashion and aren't seen so much.

I love Welsh C and D's they have such presence. I also love shires just for their calm and peaceful natures. All horses have something about them even the 'lovely' little Shetlands! I now own a Welsh D and that may have put me off them a bit, he's mad. ;)

I have a moral obligation to say Thoroughbreds!

New Forests are such a lovely versatile breed, just a shame they don't do them in a 16hh+ version.

Loved my Hanoverian, though not necessarily a massive WB fan.

Always been NFs and arabs (don't tell my cob mare, she's special in her own way) But met a lovely lusitano last year which has started off a new interest in the breed
