Favourite dog breeds?

Bedlingtons :) :)

Newfoundlands, Gun dogs in any shape or form except the poodle looking ones, working border collies and German Shepherds in fact nearly all dogs but not too keen on terriers or hounds.
I do however like a nice Staffie

Plain old mongrels! Bitch of a lifetime was OES x Mastiff x standard poodle. Currently have 2 mongrels, JRT, border x lakie terrier, and GSD. Their common theme is that no one else wanted them. I must be weird - love em to bits! :)

No I have to say i do love mongrels two, I had a border collie x retriever when I was younger, she was lovely :)

Toffee, love your rottie x - any idea what he is x with? OES is beautiful too.
I don't really have a favourite - adore my rottie, just bought a portuguese water dog, love the bull breeds too!! Always had a soft spot for ridgebacks and Great Danes as well! So a somewhat eclectic mix!! Only ones I personally wouldn't choose are the toy breeds, anything smaller than a decent sized JRT just wouldnt do it for me, but that's the beauty of dogs, so many types to suit all people!

We think he's x'd with a flat coat we saw in the house, originally were told St. Bernard but doubt that very much, I can't remember his height but he's levelled out at 40kg Ish.
He's a lovely dog just high prey drive, lots of energy but not a bad bone in his body loves every one and every thing and is never too tired for play time, he's 2yo.

Staffords!! always Staffords.. very expressive faces..

and all mine are from rescues too!!!

Oh yes, I love staffies too, great smiley faces.
But there are not that many dogs that can fart like a boxer, they make your eye balls melt!

The breed I chose to live with is a Border Collie - adore them in all their shapes and sizes and colours. They are smart and want to work with you they are fit and energetic and keep you busy because you don't want to have a bored BC on your hands!!

However other breeds I'd have if I had endless time and money Alaskan Malamute (stunning looking dogs although I don't think I have a lifestyle that would make one happy). Old English Sheepdogs (had one growing up and she was lovely and very funny). German Shepherd (Love the look and the intelligence of them). Working cocker spaniel (walk some at work and love their attitude to life). West Highland Terrier (believe it or not this was what I wanted when I got my first collie, I would be worried about the breeding now though). Oh the list goes on but this is my top five (of ones I don't have).

All time favourite is an English pointer.
I have a cocker, but also love Weimaraners, GSP, rotties, dobermans, springers, American cockers (use to show them), salukis, whippets, Finnish lapphunds, and probably loads more that I can't think of right now!!

Whippets

Mine currently has no clothes! He's growing like a weed at the minute though and is looking very gangly and is 13 weeks old.

If i could id love another whippet or a lurcher. Best dog I've ever owned was an ancient lurcher i got from the pound. If i could have another one like what id be there like a shot.

Fave dog breeds? Mine :).

We have two border collie crosses . . . both rescues . . . and they are the cleverest, handsomest/prettiest, most adorable dogs on the planet . . . not that I am biased or anything ;).

Dinky when she was a puppy (real name Daisy, but nickname is (bear with) StinkyDinkyDaisyDoodles)

I'm afraid I'm a sucker for a collie cross.
