If you could buy a youngster, what would be your ultimate choice regardless of price (although realistic in that it would still be available... not a stallion from 100 years ago with no progeny on the ground now

)?

if i was to go for a 'normal' dressage horse of say warmblood breeding it would be either a Rubenstien or Sheepcote Wurlitzer. ( as i cant have Rosen Cavilier!!!!! meanie!!!)

If i was going to go with ma heart it would be a Sadlers Wells or a Pollerton.

I love all my Breitlings as they are consistently good. The boy in my avatar is by Inselfurst so I'd quite like another one of those, although I'd better get a move on as he's getting on a little now!

I love De Niro lines, everyone ive known has had a fantastic and easy temperament. Ive also seen a few nice Rotspon youngsters.

I suppose I would also have to say Baroncelli

Although am liking the Florestan lines (Fidermark) at the moment too.

Have been very impressed by a few Dr. Doolittle youngsters I've seen recently, so I suppose you can't go far wrong with the Donnerhall lines either.....

Fidermark - love that line ( i have a granddaughter here)

humm can I have two.

One would be a combination of F and W. F for Florestan, ideally though either Fidermark or Furst Heinrich and W through Weltmeyer. Wouldn't mind Absatz further back in the pedigree or Bolero/Brentano

Second one would be a Trakehner, definatly out of a mare from the Gribaldi sire line, maybe through Distelzar or Hofrat crossed onto Connery or his son Imperio. And from the Gundula mare family.

i have to say.. i just to look after a florestan mare and she was amazing!!!!

PS ..do not like demonstrator babies..he was a lovly well tempered stallion and all is young seem to have attitude problems.

my demonstrator baby was an absolute joy even though his mother suffered from chestnut mare syndrome

but i digress, i like breitling offspring, rubenstein and sons offspring and donnerhall and sons offspring

When I went to the Verden sales last year I found myself being attracted to the Londonderry and Don Frederico stock quite a bit. The only one from other lines that I liked was a gorgeous De Niro mare.
I don't know an awful lot about breeding though
