It is 'Auguries of Innocence' by William Blake, I love that poem too, there is a line about horses in it...

A horse misused upon the road
Calls to heaven for human blood.
 
These are all good! some are funny some are sad, and some are absolutely true lol

There was a H&H member that had a quote in there sig and i loved it, something, something then warm breath on my shoulder and i knew everything was worth it! if anyone could remember it or you are the H&H member i would love you to post the whole quote! :) thanks

My horse he likes his curry comb, to scratch upon his back, to itch those places that had been underneath his tack.

I brush away the dirt and mud, the grass and shedding hair. I brush, I brush, and brush some more with tender loving care.

But when I put him in the ring, he drops, he rolls around, his feet he kicks them in the air as he squirms upon the ground.

He is filthy now when he stands up and now needs another brush. Which makes me think my horse does like his curry comb too much!!.:D
