He got lucky with the time of year- it's olympia the name plates come from- every year we get newcomers there :p And I felt mean that Cheeri has a posh set of 5'6 rugs as I've got them since I've been working while he was using Pip and Gingas hand me downs which are 10 years old and were student budget :p He's still in (new) amigo when Cheeri is in (second hand) rambo though :p

I managed to pick up a new Ariat Coat (Squeal #1) AND a brand new pair of tendon and fetlock boots from Lemieux! (MASSIVE Squeal #2) Definitely my favourite's, but a complete set of the follow up books from my favourite series came close to second! I am a very lucky girl and Dusty is a VERY lucky pony with her shiny new boots! x

I got a beautiful Louis Vuitton necklace with a "h" on it (my initial) and a new outfit cause i don't buy clothes and im pretty sure my mums sick of seeing the same "going out" top ahhaha. My Aunty got me a harry potter blanket and tshirt, which is also in my top best gifts ever.

My best gift though has been having my little old doggy still here as we were told by vet she would most likely be dead by xmas. Shes been doing great, but this last maybe week not doing too great, getting very skinny (with bloated stomach, where her cancer is) and a bit wobbly so her days are *very* numbered but shes enjoyed today getting extra snuggles and turkey. There is going to be some very sad decisions made soon which i cant even really think about...guh

Christmas Day is also my Birthday, so I get totally spoilt by having an incredible lunch and seeing all my family. I never get a single horsey thing, which makes me giggle a bit! This year I'm in love with the bread maker I was given, I've made a few loaves already and the house smells amazing!

These are my favourite present from the OH. Dinostraws!

PS He's also built me half a DIY steam room with his own gnarled hands.

My mum got me some HAAS brushes for my grey! Lets see if they work!

Oh yes we need to know well I need to know as I have been resisting persuading myself that we need to go down the colour correct grooming brushes route but it would not take much .

Not many horsey things this year. I feel like my Xmas lists needs a bit of variety sometimes and I really don't need any more gear, although I still buy stuff. Got some smart roeckl gloves. The rest was quite girly stuff - perfume, smart handbag, smelly stuff for the house.

Bought my ins some haas brushes so interested in whether she rates them.

We had trifle too, but RO your mum's one looks awesome! We used what was left to play Pie Face, which is a ridiculous game but very funny.

Sorry to hear about your beautiful dog, that must be hard. Christmas hugs to you and her xx

I had loads of lovely presents. I couldn't possibly pick, apart from maybe one.
I'm going to be an aunty. My brother and his girlfriend are having a baby boy in may. I may have cried, laughed and then had to have a shot of Jack Daniels. Had too!

OH bought me some softshell breeches, Haas brushes for M and some quick dry leg wraps from PE. Am off for a boxing day hack shortly and already factoring in extra time to have a play with the brushes 😁

My only present this year, from my parents... they are going to pay for me to train for my B+E licence so I can drive the horse around instead of being 100% reliant on OH. That's pretty awesome but also slightly scary...

:D T is my initial, and with no horse to buy for I have resorted to buying things to fill my new flat. Fully understood that to most people it sounds horrendous!

I think it sounds like great fun :) Where will you put it - bedroom or sitting room?

I have a challenge for people. Describe how to use a dinostraw without sounding pornographic :D

It's currently next to the wood burner until I have tidied enough to put it in the corner of the lounge like I want to.

Hmm.. the dinosaur one is tricky.. Can't think of anything to reply that won't get me another yellow card :D

I got a pair of Acavallo Stirrups which are gorgeous, if Stirrups can be. And I’m getting a new pair of trainers which is very exciting as I love the bouncy feeling of running in new treainers

I love the T AShetlandOnceBitMe :)

No horsey presents this year except riding socks. The OH outdid himself with a beautiful silver snaffle necklace & Joules clothing. I also got a lovely handbag from my parents. Lots of other lovely gifts too, so was very spoilt!

I managed to buy a heavyweight rug online just before Christmas, I swear I don't remember clicking on 'buy it now' after a couple of glasses of wine...... :) The OH saw it tonight and said 'is that a new rug?' whereupon I said 'oh no, I've had it ages'..... a week can be ages, yes??!!! :p

Absolutely it can! One can never have too many "jut in case" rugs! :p

Non-horsey pressies for me, which is very unusual (though there was a horsey t-shirt).
A Spineless Classic print of the Peter Rabbit collection (was a favourite of mine when I was small). And TOMS slippers.

OH bought me some softshell breeches, Haas brushes for M and some quick dry leg wraps from PE. Am off for a boxing day hack shortly and already factoring in extra time to have a play with the brushes

Would be interested in a review of the leg wraps when you use them if you don't mind :D

I'm impressed that it still looks new (or have you had dry weather?). Mine can completely coat a rug in about 45 seconds (on a slow day), making it completely indistinguishable from all others.
