Am currently pondering whether to take Holly along to a Juniors (BSJA) in Feb/March and ask the girl (S) at Duckhurst to jump her....i think Holly has potential, she's loose schooled over 3ft6 fairly easily, i am just too old to jump her seriously.

Just looked at a schedule and class 1 is 70cm, 2 is 80cm, 3 is 80cm, 4 is 90cm... now i know Holly is perfectly capable of 1,2 and 3 and i would think she could manage 4 too with a bit of practice (see CR for report from last night).

With Holly, if you are confident you will get to the next jump she will jump but if you have the slightest bit of doubt in your mind chances are she won't jump it as she really senses your thoughts when jumping.

What do you think? S is a pretty good rider really, she's 13yo so she's got a couple of years left in Juniors

I think a lot of kids are better riders than most adults purely because they have no fear and the horses gain so much confidence from that!

Holly needs a confident rider to jump her and i've seen S jump some of the dealers and she has improved so much in the last couple of years! I would think she'd jump (haha

) at the chance to compete Holly too i know i would have done if a similar off had come my way when i was 13yo.
