Hi I have a gypsy cob who suffers from what I believe to be Feather Mites although the condition seems worse in his winter/spring field. Now I have moved him to his summer/autum field they dont seem so bad and I havent noticed him stamping his feet but he does have slightly flaky skin around his fetlocks espeically the back ones. Has anyone heard of using spot on treatment & if so where would you apply it?
I have tried using frontline spray which is very expensive & time consuming and it still comes back & various washes & sprays which dont seem very effective!
Also he seems to have what i believe to be a nodular sarcoid on his sheath there is only 1 and it doesnt seem to be effecting him should i just leave it alone??
