Well feathers are off now and we are all very pleased with ourselves. We think she looks smart, she says she is a lot more comfortable. Now the big question. Do we hog or not.Her mane is very short. She has a pretty pony head.

Glad to hear that she’s feeling more comfortable without her leg warmers 🙂.

I’d be inclined to keep her with a short and tidy mane as she has now, but hogged cobs do look smart.

Hogging does mean the loss of the emergency grab handle, so do bear that in mind. I found that quite unnerving.

She will look properly smart hogged as long as you won’t mind the loss of the grab handle 🙂.
I have to agree the loss of a very reassuring hairy grab handle is worrying, well it was for me anyway. I always replaced with either an 'Oh Jesus!' strap or just a hunting martingale with the forks removed. ☺️
