Its only been a few days since the vet said Arch has a virus and has to have two weeks off! The weekend was soooo boring, I dont think I can cope with two weeks without riding. Mums horse is even off for two weeks aswell so I cant even ride him!
So, if anyone wants their horse ridden in the beds, bucks, northants area, PLEASE let me know. Im going mad already!!!

Oh no poor you, hope Arch is feeling better soon? Would you be able to do some light groundwork with him, or take him for some gentle inhand walks perhaps?
 
I did think about maybe long reining him round the farm, but I dont want to pro long his recovery. Its just so frustrating, I was finally getting somewhere with him, then he gets ill. Its not his fault I no, but Id totally lost my motivation a while ago and was thinking of selling him, but then I got back it to it and was loving it again, and now I just feel deflated.

Oh dear! I can sympasise as I have not been able to ride for 3 months now because of back problems (me not the horse!). I really miss it but managed a go round the block last Sunday but not since because my back has been too sore

At least its not the 10 months we had to wait - thats when not riding becomes the norm! It wont be long now and look how eager you are getting - what a great sign!
