Am i the only person in the world that has such a clumsy horse

.............. that when the blacksmith has shod him, and he returns to his stable, he can pull a shoe off !

We used to have a problem out in the field, but i have susses that with turn out boots ! but he can still pull shoes off behind ?

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh sorry to moan, just getting fed up of this ? anyone with any advise ?

change farrier??!!

sorry to hear he keeps pulling shoes off hun - no advice really. I know what a pain it is tho, bloss went through a stage of pulling them off, as did Archie.
 
weird as it sounds I had one horse who was a serial shoe puller for many years, move to new yard where farrier cold shod, not more shoes lost.
I have no idea how or why that happened though, but I was very pleased it did.
 
Farrier is fab, its not him, my boy can stand there and line his feet up so he pulls the shoes off, i cant fault the farrier, he has done wonders with his feet !

Donkey, until Christmas was doing it reguarly 3 within 2 weeks - she now has shoes with rolled edges and they seem to be staying on, nothing for her to clamp her hoof down on!!!

Blacksmith says she has her own box of shoes in his garage!!!
