My horse was being a prat in the school, he spooked and I broke my hand stopping myself falling off

Now I can't ride or drive for 4-6 weeks, i'm so annoyed I had lots of shows planned for my daughter this summer and was even taking my boy out to dressage

Unfortunately, it's all part of horse ownership. Remember, it could've been a lot worse.

That's rotten luck - bet you'd have done less damage if you'd let yourself fall!
The time will soon go in, and shows won't be much fun in this weather anyway. Hopefully by the time you're mobile again the weather will have improved and there'll still be lots of things you and your daughter can go to.
