Feed advice please! My thoroughbred looks like a welfare case!

The feed that has worked for my boy, who is a TB and had no topline to speak of due to kissing spine - he looked awful - is cool stance copra - its high in protein and oil, has a very good amino acid profile, is low in sugar & starch and high in fibre. Brilliant stuff, costs £17.50 per bag and a bag lasts me just over 2 weeks, but he gets a scoop per day which is soaked and is spread over 4 feeds per day. I also feed him micronised linseed which is £23.50 per bag and I feed him 300grammes per day, so a bag lasts me about 6 weeks. I do also feed him oats but that might not be suitable for yours if it has ulcers.

Another one for Alltech Life Force. I am convinced that it saved the life of my Connemara pony. Huge vets bills, huge feed bills, herbs, supplements... Nothing was working. 1 bag of LF, 1 month later and there was a small improvement, enough for me to take the plunge and order more, rather than call the vet out again.. We've not looked back. He is now on a handful of non molassed chaff, 2 scoops of LF and ad-lib hay. He looks amazing!

I have put all my horses on it, they all look amazing and my feed bill is a fraction of what it was. 2 bags of Alfalfa and 1 bag of nuts (for treats ball if they get one) for 1 month...

I wish I'd discovered it for my old boy...

As some have already said I also feed alpha a oil unmolassed sugar beet, micronised linseed and a mineral and vitamin supplement, my Arab who can drop weight does very well on this, he also gets plenty of hay through winter.
