I am happy to announce my retired boy is moving back to my yard,he has lost alot of condition over the winter at his retirement home and now after much soul searching i have decided he should come back to my yard for a bit of tlc and hopefully live out the rest of his days with me.
(The only reason he was moved was the yard i was on at the time he retired wouldn't let me turn him out as much as i wanted, but now i have moved to a great place with lots of turnout)
So i was wondering what kind of feed plan i should put him on to help him gradually increase weight, bearing in mind that he has lost some teeth -
I was thinking of things like soya oil and micronized linseed. He can't eat hay so i will be giving him readigrass instead. And i was going to give him three feeds a day.
Any advice or experiences with oldies is much appreciated, so excited to have him back!!
