Feed Bin

Hi,

I have a small lock up down my yard were I keep my tack and feed. My feed is currently stored in dustbins which not only take up so much room but also the mickeys keep getting into.

I would really like a metal or wooden feed bin but they are so expensive.

Does anyone know where I can ge these cheap or have other suggestions?

I was thinking about a small chest freezer?

Chest freezers are good but make sure it doesn't leak

We all have old chest freezers outside our stables at our yard. Very good for storing feed, mice cant get in and they are lockable if you can get the ones with handles on the front. Put an ad on freecycle of you decide to get one as someone might be wanting to get rid of an old or broken one.

Great idea Blaise! Thanks for your advice both of you. You have made my mind up about getting a chest freezer.
