anyone else still paying silly amounts?

Prices are going up all the time :-( Luckily me and my friend have bulk bought and gone halves to try and save some cash. On average, in a year, prices have gone up by about £2.50-£3.00 per bag round our way - rubbish!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-(

I get my feed from Mole Valley Farmers and get their own brand, i find its the same as named feeds and costs much less, the bags are often bigger too.

We have swapped from a branded competition mix to a plain (still branded) coarse mix, I have subbed in some alfa a for mine, and my sisters gets oats. I think it is working out cheaper, and as yet they don't seem to have changed particularly - not any more lazy/fizzy.

I think their feed doesn't impact hugely, as the majority of what they eat is grass anyway

local feed shop tends to only stock brand names so i cant really swap.

i dont have any problem paying for feed, just get a bit sick of it going up weekly.
