Feed for 6 yr gypsy cob

My new boy is arriving soon, my question is my youngster (3) is just on Dodson & Horrel Suregrow, shall I put my new cob on this also? He's on rigcalm and alfa-a at moment. Just looking for advice so I'm not wasting money on stuff I don't need. Thanks in advance.

Hi, Whats his bodily condition like and is he on rigcalm because he is a rig or because hes been cut late?

He had covered mares but was cut at 2.5, he's currently in with 2 mares and does fine with just 1 scoop of rigcalm from March as he had previously tried to mount one of them. He needs to gain a lot of muscle and looks like he still has a lot of filling out to do, I'm the only one riding him at the mo. hacking once per week so will be aiming to build his fitness up and will be used for regular hacking 5-6 days per week and fun rides.
