Sasha has lost bit of weight!!!! Nothing wrong with her but she was not worked from dec till we bought her 3 wk ago. Now she is doing 3 to 4 hours work a week, consists of 1 schooling lesson with Polocrosse pro riding her. 1 flat work hour with son, and two hour training Polocrosse . This has been steady and we have worked her up to where she is now. She is now much fitter.
This is what she is fed now. Ad lib hay ledge , two feeds a day of scoop of cool mix, scoop of Alfa oil, farriers formula and supple ease gold and cup of blue chip. I don't want her to drop any more weight, is there anything else I can add without adding fizz, she has enough of that now! She also has carrots in feed. Three at a time. YO thinks her feed is ok, she is not stressy mare, she has settled well, and is out with one other mare. PX pro said she just looks like typical tb bit ribby but well covered, we never noticed her ribs till we gave her a trace clip few days ago. Does her diet sound ok.

We have a mare that looses weight badly during winter and we feed her topline conditioning mix, sugar beet and cool mix. We honestly just try to feed her as much of it as possible, I'm sure she is but i would just check her wormer is up to date and im sure she is not that bad.
