The owner of Surrey Equestrian posted on here a while back regarding various problems they were trying to put right with their mail order business & I think he mentioned that they don't send out feed due to the weight & transport cost.
They may deliver to local customers, I don't know. Give them a call & you'll get your answer.
i used to get my feed delivered by them and sometimes they'd take ages to get it out. once, leaving me v short of food when we had the snow. i now go to my local feed shop, not far away and the petrol costs less than the delivery charge of anyone else. but i think they no longer deliver for some reason.
weird-I am in Scotland and have had the odd couple of bags of Badminton feed from them (noone stocks it up here)-it was reasonably priced and arrived in good time, think delivery was only £4.95 for 2 bags easy rider.
They've actually stopped doing feed all together now to make more space for the mail order buisness. Elm Farm Claygate and Byhurst Farm Chessington both deliver locally. I think Rokers outside Guildford do too.
I'm not sure what Surrey Equestrian are up to with what seem to be seriously falling standards all round. There is a Robinson's Superstore opened up less than an hour away. I know where I'm headed....
We still do feed. In store we keep the basics ie pony nuts, livery mix, mollichaff, pasture mix, horsehage etc. We have over 166 feeds on the website which can be ordered online and as long as it is ordered by 1.00pm on a Monday it will be in store to collect on a Wednesday. Check out our prices as you will find that they are the cheapest on most lines for miles.
