Feed storage

I use normal plastic dustbins as they are the right size for a bag of food & keep the rats/dog out, however, they do take up a bit of room.

I know others that use wheelie bins, but I'm quite short & would struggle to reach down to the bottom of one of these!

Loving the idea of a filing cabinet.

I use dustbins, but recently got hold of an ice cream freezer! Its brilliant, can stand about 4 sacks of feed in and is totally rat proof, but easy to use (sliding lids!).

Wheelie bins. I find them great easy to move about when they are full. Only downside is it can be a pain when you get to the end of the bin as its hard to reach!

That reminds me....... at a livery yard I was at we had an old chest freezer which worked a treat. I expect you could get hold of one at a recycling centre or the such. It doesn't have to work as you won't be plugging it in, as long as the lid fits well.
