Got my TB ex racer on Calm and Condition which she loves, with a couple of supplements, and had a handful of herbal chaff mixed and small scoop of mix. She was leaving the Chaff, so left that out, now she is leaving the mix, and some carrots!

So looking for weight gain without fizz to have with her calm and condition - this is how she looks now

If she loves the Calm and Condition and not the mix, why not leave the mix out and just up the C&C a bit to compensate? To be honest, from that photo her weight doesn't look that bad - she is rather leggy so is never going to look really chunky! Remember the grass is through now and that will probably do more to put on weight than anything else!

I think she looks brilliant! Lovely coat!

My pony has really picked up on Spillers Conditioning Fibre. I feed this with 16+ but am going to try feeding just this Chaff (with pellets in it) and Speedibeet in the winter. Adding the mix again if she needs it.

It can be used as a complete feed but Spillers recommend adding a double handful to feed if you are just using to bulk out which is what I am doing at the moment.

My girl loves it and it is lovely and soft and not covered in mollasses! The sugar content is only 4.5%

Do you soak the calm & condition? I am suprised she can pick that out from the rest as if soaked it usually mixes in? She must be very selective to manage it! Lol.
As TGM says if shes like the c&c just stick with that plus a supplement to get her vits & minerals.
My TB was on this last year but this year he wintered on Baileys No4, TS Conditioning flakes (ace for condition & very appetising!) & Alfa A Oil. He also has pink powder as a balancer/vit&mineral supp.

Yes, soak the calm and condition, don't give it a good stir, just put the C&C on top with her biotin and garlic linseed and parsley oil in it

Shes very good at just eating the bits she wants, originally had her on outshine and even mixed with calm and condition all the little balls would be left in the morning!

Just thought it would be nice for her to have a bit of variety!

Calm & Condition is already supplemented with vit/mins, so if you are feeding the manufacturer's recommended amount then a separate vit/min supplement is not needed.

Why dont you stir it in? I would have thought it would be harder for her not to leave certains bits if all mixed together? Or would she just leave it all?
Ultimatly if calm & condition is the only thing she will eat then up that.
Would def try conditioning flakes if you feel you want to give her something else - even my dog keeps stealing them from g's bucket!
