As my boy is lame, he hasnt been worked for 3 weeks, and no work = a horse with a BAD attitude!! He is the most loving gentle horse ever but turns into a demon when out of work, already he has bitten me, threatened to kick while doing rugs, even bucking while having his feet done

Is there a feed or something i can give him that will chill him out, relax him or something?? ATM he is on a handful of Hi-fi lite, a handful of nuts, and his supplements, hes a very good doer so it cant be anything thats a weight gain, or condition mix.

If its what i think it is, he will need box rest too

Hes going to be a nightmare!!!

Thanks xx

Have you tried him on one of the calmers?
I've found Blue Chip Karma quite good and my vet recommends So-Kalm Plus, there's all sorts out there. Might be worth a go?

Ive honestly never had to feed anything like this before, all mine have been ok, so ive never heard of them really, will google them ones though and have a read, thanks x

Magnesium has always worked for me to calm a horse. You can buy herbal remedies rather than an actual feed as this will work out cheaper in the end!
