Just getting them out for education is important. If he was well behaved overall then that's a win!!

Without seeing the competition difficult to judge where others may have placed you. It's so subjective as someone has already mentionned.

Here's my 2yo, who I took in a youngstock class recently at a small local charity show.

He's in a field with my other 2yo. Just a small feed of unmolassed chaff, fast fibre and access to salt lick.

I think I can see a difference in a couple months top photo is the day I bought and bottom photo is current
He does look better now in those pictures and it was your first go and it's a great experience for them to get out, showing is a skill and like anything it requires practice and everyone has to start somewhere so already you have more knowledge.

Beware showing can become quite addictive 😂
