Does anyone have any feedback on any of these stallions? Hotline, Don Romantic and San Amour? Wanting to breed something for dressage but trainable! Elite stallions have been very helpful but could do with some impartial advice!

Sorry probally not much help but I have a San Liberty mare and she is Amazing, she is the black in my sig and I love her to bits!!

Ooh - Hannahbanana - a friend of mine owns San Liberty....he is always looking for pics and info from people who have horses by him as they only bought him from Paul Schokemohle a couple of years ago and so his first UK foals were only born last year....

Hotline receives mixed reviews but with a general comment that he doesn't reproduce the calibre of himself.
San Amour is stunning and i really like him but he is very hot so needs to be used on the right mare and imo for a professional market. We have a stunning San Amour filly out of our Sandro Hit stallion's mother. She was a premium foal with the Oldenburg Verband and they commented that she had everything a dressage horse could show and should make a State Premium mare and she also won the Sports horse foal class at Kent County.

Is this the pics of foal by san amour? It's beautiful.
My mare is not sharp just rather forward (big difference!) not pro rider though so that does concern me.
Did you use Elite stallions for him? And how fertile was he? Worried about total cost of buying extra semen if my mare doesn't concieve first time.

Yes she is the 2008 filly by San Amour out of our Weltrhum x Matcho AA mare 'Waikiki'. Waikiki has been a fantastic mare for us producing our Oldenburg licenced stallion Santo Hit (Sandro Hit x Weltruhm x Matcho AA) and two other lovely foals, one now three and due to be backed shortly and the other a 2 year old colt who hopefully is due to go out to germany to be presented for licensing with the Oldenburg verband.

We bought four doses of frozen from Schockemöhle and then a couple from elite. I would say that if your buying a few doses of frozen then best to go direct as you can usually get discount but if your only buying 1-2 doses then go to Elite as the discount you'd get from going direct wouldn't cover the 300 euro shipping fee from Germany. We found the quality to be good for the frozen.

Although, sometimes it is easier to spend the extra money and have the chilled sent and they'll keep sending it (although possibly not from San Amour as he is so popular) but you have to pay 120+euro each shipment so if you mare is fertile and you have a good repro vet then can work out considerably cheaper to go froen IF you get her on the first dose.

Its a bit of a gamble we've always used alot of frozen and had good results up until last year (same vets, same mare, same stallions, just bad luck) when we had really bad luck and had a lot of frozen wasted in mares who just weren't taking, i'm just grateful that we have our own Sandro Hit stallion to use this year!!

Hi
I saw you own a mare by my stallion San Liberty any pictures or info on her would be great. I have spoken to a few people who have his offspring and they all love their temperaments and are really pleased with them I'm always trying to trace his offspring and they're results.
