im lucky i still have good grass, but when in he has hay or hayledge, hard food wise ready grass, he is just going over to equi jewel as im not happy with his weight (show horse and can be up tight so i want him carrying a bit more) and a min and vit supplement.
My Welsh Sec D 3 year old is on 1/2 scoop speedi beet, 1/2 scoop dengi hi-fi original, hand full of horse and pony mix, splodge of veg oil and 1/2 scoop of garlic twice a day!
ETA He was on 1 mug full of Baileys no4 Topline conditioning mix once a day too but he's built up SO quick on it I took it out after a month!!
Ridden up to 3 times a week MAX doing 15 minute flat work sessions, occasionally some trotting poles which he loves doing. I broke him when he turned 3 earlier this summer, gave him a few months off then slowly brought him back in to it as he was so bored and loved working.. (He's VERY intelligent!) This winter he will be given the worst of it off as I don't have the use of a school so it is all field work at the moment.. I hope this helps you
mine isnt in any work, he does a bit of ground work to keep him seeing the world,.. leading out on roads, introduced to clippers etc but wont do any thing until arounf feb.. he is also not broken yet far to baby ish.
mine does however live out with the odd day/night in if weather is really wet (this is more for field management than anything.)
