My horse started tying up at the end of the Summer, so on the vets advice he was turned out in a field for a few months to 'sort himself out'. He has just come back from his holidays and been blood tested, everything is back to normal and am wondering what to feed him. The vet has said high fibre/oil and no cereal. So I think we are left with Dodson and Horrell ERS pellets or Saracen Re-leve. Has anyone had any good/bad experiences with either of these. He has also lost condition and so needs to put some weight back on, but I don't want to blow his mind and I am a bit concerned that initialy whilst he is coming back into work and not getting to much in the way of feed, other than fibre that I may need to feed some sort of balancer/supplement, anyone any suggestions please.
