Feeding a laminitic

Totally mystified.

He has recovered, will be doing a Novice dressage test on Sunday and rider would like to feed up a bit for more energy!!

He only goes out for 2 hours on a diet paddock.

Fed a small amount of Happy Hoof and salt. Ridden most days.

Any advice most appreciated.

Mine is on D & H balancer to give him the energy he needs to compete and be schooled/hacked. He goes out with a muzzle on , gets soaked hay and honeychop oat chaff.
