My mare is currently in work 4/5 times a week with 2 schooling sessions, a jump session, a build up hack (lots of trot, canter and hill work) and then one relaxing hack. She has been keeping her weight on fine but has just started to look a bit too lean for my liking! She is a 16hh thoroughbred, fully clipped but well rugged up (out in the day and in at night). She is currently on 2 large scoops of high fi and a scoop of conditioning cubes as well as 3 haynets a day. What other feeds/supplements would you reccomend to help her build up and maintain her weight and top line? A little bit more energy is fine but no fizz up feeds! Also once the event season has started and she is in ore competition type work what would you reccomending feeding her to give her enough energy and stamina without being silly? Thankyou :)

Ground linseed - great for skin and coat and calories!

For energy I feed Simple Systems grass nuts - partly as you can 'target feed' ie just before a competition for energy, they give my horse forward energy without being silly.

I used to feed my TB the Spillers slow release energy cubes.
He would get a full stubbs scoop in the morning with a double handful of Alfa A and the same at night.
It was perfect for him, it made him a great weight, lots of stamina but he was well behaved with no fizz. He evented at90 level fine on it.
