Am after some feeding advice for Dougal.

At th emo he is on Baileys topline mix, hi-fi and staypower muesli but is quite laid back and a bit lazy!

Was thinking about cutting out the muesli and giving alfa-a for some energy as want to keep it more fibre based and cut out the starch a bit.

He is 17hh, 5 yr old TB and Intro eventing. Worked 6 days a week.

If you want more energy, but a more natural, fibre approach to feed, why dont you have a look at the Winergy feeds? They've worked wonders for my mare who has had all sorts of problems, she's on top form now.

I have the same problem with my horse - he is a big lazy lad too!! 17.2 and will do anything to get out of work.
I compete him at Pre Novice level and I feed him a Comp mix by D&H, Alpha A with extra Oil and Spillers Cond cubes.
O and a big scoop of Sugar Beet.
He looks ace on this and his engery level is up more so than what he would be on if he was just on normal feed.
