Feeding advice please...

My mare returned back off loan underweight and out of work.

I have kept her out of work for now until some of the weight has come back on. She is currently fed ad lib haylage both day and night. 4 feeds per day of 16+ (even though she's not a veteran) and mollichop. She has 4kg of 16+ per day plus a double handful of mollichop in each of her 4 feeds plus oil and carrots.

I have had her teeth done.

Just wondered your opinion on this.

You don't say what breed your horse is. Personally I would go to a good feed merchant, explain your horse's situation and take their advice. I took on a very skinny TB this year and following advice he is on Spillers conditioning cubes, alpha a oil and speedibeet with NAF pink powder and it seems to be working! Or you could ring the feed companies direct and ask their advice
