I know this has been done a million times but want to get it right. Our horses live out 24/7 and have ad lib hay in the winter. I have just purchased a new horse (TB type/ polo pony) She was slightly underweight when I got her so wormed and have been feeding alfa a oil, speedi beet and salt. She he has already put on weight so all going well. What do you all recommend to feed coming up to the winter? I am a fan of Linseed so will probably introduce that. I am also concerned that she will not be getting all the minerals etc as the bulk of her feed in in summer grass and in winter hay and grass. So what is the best supplement if indeed one is needed. Work load from October to February will be light work from Feb until Sept she will be getting fit and playing again.
